Operator flags

Generated from main.go at build time. The binary accepts no positional arguments and exits on unknown flags. Flags prefixed --local- belong to the disposable integration harness and are rejected outside --local-test.

Flag Type Default Description
--version bool false Print version and exit
--operator-namespace string "celld-system" Namespace of trusted operator pods and leader election
--operator-service-account string controller.DefaultOperatorServiceAccount The operator’s ServiceAccount, admitted to fleet peer ports by the AuthorizationPolicy of fleets in the Istio mesh
--network-policy-enforced bool false Administrator attests NetworkPolicy enforcement has been verified on this cluster
--local-test bool false Use disposable local MinIO test configuration; never enable on EKS
--local-rwop bool false Disposable harness only: request ReadWriteOncePod claims served by the per-node hostpath CSI driver; requires –local-test
--launcher-image string "" Deprecated and ignored: fleets run celld directly (ADR 0023). Accepted so existing deployments keep starting
--metrics-bind-address string "0" Optional metrics listener (0 disables)
--member-replacement-delay duration 10m How long one PersistentFleet member may stay down, while every other member is ready, before it is replaced on a fresh disk
  • --local-rwop without --local-test.
  • --member-replacement-delay below one minute.
Port Purpose
:8082 Health probes /healthz and /readyz.
--metrics-bind-address Prometheus metrics, disabled by default. The Helm chart uses port 8084.

Leader election uses a Lease named celld-operator.celld.eric.dev in --operator-namespace.
